Benefit Segmentation :-

Segmentation that is done on the basis of the benefits. 

e.g Javed Habib identified the benefits of revenue from each customer.

Segmentation based on usage :-
 e.g ARPU - Average revenue per user this is the example for the telecom business model.


  • Segmentation is generic or overall
  • Target it specific and profiling.
